INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY FILM FESTIVAL 2025
CIMOV - Muestra Internacional de Cine y Movilidad
In collaboration with the 14th World Bicycle Forum

Since its origin, CIMOV has served as a platform for the expression and dissemination of audiovisual works that highlight civic engagement and the transformative power of sustainable mobility. Launched in 2017 during the 6th edition of the World Bicycle Forum has since accompanied each subsequent edition, maintaining a presence in the host country.
In 2025, CIMOV will be part of the 14th edition of the World Bicycle Forum. We are pleased to invite filmmakers, collectives, activists, students, and creators from around the world to submit original audiovisual works that explore the theme of mobility in its many forms: urban, rural, sustainable, inclusive, active, and imaginative. While the bicycle remains a central symbol, CIMOV embraces a broader vision, encompassing walking, wheelchairs, public transportation, community-led initiatives, and the right to safe, inclusive streets.
A selection of works will be curated by an international jury composed of professionals from both the fields of mobility and cinema. Selected films will be screened during CIMOV 2025 as part of the World Bicycle Forum and may also be included in future CIMOV programming.
Submission Guidelines.
Participation is free of charge
Open to individuals and groups of all ages and nationalities
One submission per participant or collective
Films of any genre, technique, or duration are welcome.
Themes: urban, rural, sustainable, inclusive, active, creative mobility : bicycles, walking, wheelchairs, public transport, community efforts, and street rights.
Submissions must include subtitles
Films in languages other than French must include French subtitles, as French is the primary language of the host city.
English subtitles are optional, but can be included for accessibility.
Films in French or English must include Spanish or English subtitles, respectively.
If you are unable to provide French subtitles, we may be able to assist in some cases.

Upload your film to YouTube or Vimeo and send the link with the download option.
Important Dates:
June 28th to August 28th, 2025: Submission period
September 8th, 2025: Announcement of the official selection via CIMOV and FMB social media channels
September 15th, 2025: Selected participants must submit a signed rights transfer letter confirming their authorship and granting screening permissions for CIMOV 2025 and the World Bicycle Forum
